Comprehensive Dentistry

The Whole Mouth, Planned Together.

When several teeth, the bite, old dental work, or jaw function are involved, treating one tooth at a time can miss the larger problem. Dr. Atassi looks at how the pieces connect and builds one treatment plan around the whole mouth.

Comprehensive  Care

More Than a Single Tooth.

The condition of one tooth can be affected by the teeth around it, the way the bite comes together, wear, previous dental work, or problems with the jaw. Comprehensive dentistry looks at those relationships before deciding what should be restored.

Restorative  Dentistry

Save More of the Tooth When You Can.

Dr. Atassi uses bonded and biomimetic techniques when appropriate so damaged teeth can sometimes be restored without covering the entire tooth with a crown. The choice depends on how much healthy structure remains and what the tooth needs to function.

Function

How the Teeth Come Together Matters.

Bite problems can contribute to wear, broken dental work, muscle discomfort, and stress on the teeth. When the bite or jaw is part of the problem, it becomes part of the diagnosis and treatment plan.

One  Tooth

One Tooth Still Belongs to the Whole Mouth.

A crown, onlay, implant, root canal, or other single-tooth treatment can still be planned in the context of the rest of the mouth. The goal is to solve the immediate problem without losing sight of what is happening around it.
Training

Built on Aesthetic, Restorative, and Functional Dentistry.

Dr. Atassi’s training includes advanced aesthetic and restorative dentistry at UCLA, treatment planning through the Kois Center, implant training through gIDE, and continuing education in biomimetic and minimally invasive dentistry.

Full-Mouth  Rehabilitation

When the Whole Mouth Needs a Plan.

For patients with extensive wear, broken teeth, failing older dentistry, or larger bite and restorative problems, treatment can be planned as one full-mouth rehabilitation.

“I trust Dr. Atassi completely”

“Today he repaired an implant I had done a long time ago by a different dentist. I was very nervous when my tooth came out, but in 30 minutes he had my tooth replaced painlessly. … I am impressed with his knowledge and ability to perform treatments that are not necessarily common.”
