Porcelain Veneers

A Natural-Looking Smile.

Veneers can change the shape, color, and proportion of the teeth. Dr. Atassi plans each case around the smile you want, the teeth you already have, and how the final result will look in your face.

What Would You Like to Change?

People often come in knowing they want a better smile without knowing which treatment they need. Dr. Atassi starts with what is actually bothering you: color, position, shape, proportion, or a combination. Whitening may solve a color concern. Invisalign can change position. Bonding or porcelain can change shape. The plan comes from figuring out which of those things actually needs to change.
  • Color

    Whitening may be enough.

  • Position

    Invisalign may come first.

  • Shape

Bonding or veneers can change shape and proportion.

Designed for Your Face.

Natural teeth are not one flat color or one standard shape. Dr. Atassi looks at proportion, shade, translucency, the surrounding teeth, and how the smile sits in the face. The proposed shape is tried in before the final porcelain is completed.
What  to  Expect

From Consultation to Final Veneers.

FAQs

Questions About Veneers

Not necessarily. Depending on what you want to change, whitening, Invisalign, or bonding may be enough or may come first. Dr. Atassi will explain the options during your consultation.

There is no standard number. Many of Dr. Atassi’s veneer cases involve two, four, or six teeth. Full sets of sixteen or twenty are uncommon in his practice.

Yes. Natural teeth have variation in shade and translucency, and the porcelain can be layered to work with the surrounding teeth. Dr. Atassi also evaluates shape and proportion in the face before the final veneers are bonded.

Sometimes. It depends on the position of the tooth and the change being made. Some veneers can be bonded with little or no reduction, while other cases require preparation.

Sometimes. If tooth position is part of what needs to change, moving the teeth first can improve the plan and may reduce how many teeth need porcelain.

Dr. Atassi typically plans at least 16 weeks from the first visit for a veneer case. Treatment takes longer when Invisalign or other treatment is part of the plan.

There is no single price because the cost depends on the number of teeth being treated and whether other treatment comes first. You receive the complete treatment plan and cost before treatment is scheduled.

You talk with Dr. Atassi about what you would like to change. He then reviews photographs and x-rays and examines your teeth, gums, and bite before recommending a treatment plan.

Yes. Dr. Atassi regularly sees patients who want existing veneers replaced. He evaluates the veneers and the teeth underneath and plans the new case from there.
